The Murray Capital team understands key business fundamentals and value drivers and will add considerable value to existing and new management teams. Murray Capital will focus on establishing appropriate capital structure, analysing the linkages between key people within a business, understanding its products/services and its market, increasing operating and management efficiency, as well as driving growth and shareholder value.

The Rakaia Fund will invest in management teams and people. We believe that the quality, incentivisation and motivation of key people often makes the difference between business success and failure. We will create long term relationships with senior management of the businesses in which we invest, working with them closely in a coordinated manner to achieve critical business objectives.

Flexible Investing

The Rakaia Fund will be able to invest using instruments across the capital spectrum from ordinary/preferred equity to convertibles to mezzanine/senior debt. This will allow the Rakaia Fund to utilise appropriate investment structures which are customised to fit the circumstances of each individual situation.

Networks

Murray Capital has access to a well established network of business associates and professional contacts through out New Zealand from which it will source investment opportunities for the Rakaia Fund. These networks will also be available to be utilized for the benefit of our investee companies.
